Robert Kiyosaki slams the Fed as criminal; Names assets to trust

Amid countless gloomy warnings of a financial collapse awaiting the United States and possibly the world, popular investor and author of the best-selling personal finance book ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ Robert Kiyosaki has reiterated his distrust of the US government and the Federal Reserve. Indeed, Kiyosaki told his followers “to pay less attention to what the Fed is saying and what the Fed is doing” when making financial choices, as he believes that it to be a “ criminal organization” that is not looking out for the common people, as he explained in an X post on February 15. London Stock Exchange seeks digital assets director

In a LinkedIn job posting the London Stock Exchange Group says it's seeking a digital assets lead with a “passion” for digital assets, crypto and blockchain. The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the parent company of the London Stock Exchange and other fintech companies, has posted on LinkedIn that it's seeking a director of digital asset s.  LSEG says it is looking for candidates who have a “passion for and understanding of digital asset s, cryptocurrencies and distributed ledger technology,” among other skills and requirements. According to the posting the future digital asset manager for LSEG will be helping the company outline and deploy a commercial strategy for “a suite of new infrastructure solutions and capabilities, as well as developing LSEG’s brand and ecosystem in digital private markets.” A representative from LSEG told Cointelegraph that it could not provide any further details on the development at the time.  Related: London Stock Exchange Group may provid...

Turkey eyes new law on crypto assets: report

Turkey is preparing a new law on crypto regulation, according to Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek. The legislation looks to toughen approach to money laundering and terrorism financing to bring Turkey into compliance with Financial Action Task Force (FATF) requirements. Turkey is looking to toughen its approach to cryptocurrency regulation, according to a statement made by the country’s finance minister. Reuters reported on Wednesday, November 1 that Turkey’s quest for new legislation aims at clear regulation for crypto-assets as a route to getting an upgrade in its money laundering and terrorist financing outlook. WonderFi merges with Coinsquare and CoinSmart to form regulated crypto asset platform

The newly merged cryptocurrency trading platform has a total of 1.65 million registered users. Canadian-based companies WonderFi Technologies Inc., Coinsquare Ltd., and CoinSmart Financial Inc. have announced their merger to create Canada's largest regulated crypto asset trading platform with over 1.65 million registered users.  The newly merged company will offer Canadians a wide range of diversified products and services, including retail and institutional crypto trading, staking products, business-to-business crypto payment processing, sports betting, and gaming. The newly-merged company "will have transacted over $17 billion since 2017 and have over $600 million in assets under custody," the announcement said.
